Common questions.

It depends on your course. The ESAT is used for engineering and science courses at Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial and UCL. The TMUA is used for mathematics, computer science, economics and related courses at Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, LSE, Warwick and Durham. The TARA is used for courses such as PPE and Human Sciences at Oxford, and Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering at UCL. Confirm the exact requirement on your university's admissions page, then practise for that test here.

No. Every question is original, written to the public UAT-UK specification. We replicate the format, the timing and the interface, not the actual content.

There are 54 full papers with over 1,300 questions: eight full ESAT mocks, four TMUA and three TARA. The practice banks add over 2,000 more original questions, none of which appear in a mock. New mock sets are released over time as they are written and checked, and a plan includes every paper added before its access ends.

It is Noetra’s own calibration, not an official result. UAT-UK publishes no conversion tables, and the real conversion changes with every sitting depending on how hard the questions were, so treat it as a guide to your progress rather than a prediction. The free ESAT score calculator uses the same calibration.

Access lasts at least 12 months from your purchase, or until 30 days after the final test sitting of your entry cycle if that is later. If you have not chosen an entry cycle yet, access lasts 18 months, and choosing one later can extend that but never shorten it. Your end date is shown at checkout and saved with your purchase, and your work and results stay saved after access ends. The full rules are in the terms.

Yes. You can sit a paper on a phone, and the timer, question navigator and review all work at phone size. The real test is taken on a computer at a test centre, so we recommend a laptop or desktop for full mocks.

Plans are one-time payments, not subscriptions, and Complete covers all three tests, so a late change of course list is already handled. If something does go wrong, the refund policy is published in plain English.
