About Noetra.

Noetra is an independent practice platform for the ESAT, TMUA and TARA admissions tests.

Who makes it

Noetra is built by students who sat these admissions tests themselves. When we prepared, the practice material was thin. For the newer tests, the official preparation is a single specimen paper, and tutoring is expensive.

So we built what we wanted at the time: full-length original mocks, written to the public UAT-UK specification, with a worked solution for every question.

How the questions are written and checked

Every question is original and written to the public specification for its test. We never use or adapt real past-paper questions. Most wrong options come from a specific, named mistake, such as a forgotten square root or an inverted ratio, so the review can tell you which mistake you made.

Before a paper or practice set is published, a script checks it. For many questions it works the answer out again from the question’s own numbers and compares it with the key. It also checks that no two options are the same and that every wrong option is either tied to a named mistake or marked as one that no common mistake leads to. Nothing is published until these checks pass.

What you get

Noetra has 52 full-length mock papers and over 3,400 original questions across the ESAT, TMUA and TARA, counting the practice questions outside the mocks. Every paper is timed on screen, like the real test. When you finish, the review shows your estimated score, a worked solution for every question, the common mistakes behind your wrong answers and where your time went.

Plans come with a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have attempted fewer than 30 questions since the purchase. The refund policy has the details.
