Why it matters

PDFs teach content. ESAT punishes pacing.

The ESAT is a short, sharp on-screen exam. Noetra trains the practical mechanics as well as the maths and science: moving through the palette, flagging decisions, recovering time, and choosing when to commit.

Module choice

Five modules. You sit three.

Mathematics 1 is compulsory. You then choose two further modules based on the course you’re applying for. Always confirm the exact requirement against UAT-UK guidance and your university’s admissions page.

What you get

A full test-day loop, not a folder of questions.

Every Noetra paper is written to the public ESAT specification and checked before release. You sit it under real conditions, then use the feedback to decide what to practise next.

  • Real conditions: 40 minutes, no calculator, flag and review, and auto-submit at zero.
  • Verified answer keys: every solution checked and every paper sat in full before release.
  • Topic-level feedback: accuracy and time split by question type the moment you finish.
  • Mistake replay: the slips that cost marks become the next drills you practise.

Format

The structure is fixed. Your pace is trainable.

27 Qs

Multiple choice, no partial credit

Correct answers earn one mark. Incorrect or blank answers score nothing, so clean elimination matters.

40 min

Under 90 seconds per question

You need fast no-calculator routes and the judgement to leave a question before it burns the section.

1-9

Reported per module separately

Each module receives its own 1-9 score. Noetra estimates are always labelled as estimates.

Scored 1 to 9. UAT-UK publishes no conversion tables, so any estimate Noetra shows is its own calibration.
